Autumnz was born out of the founders’ aspirations to create a range of mummy and baby products, as well as to curate a range of products to help make parenting easier. Autumnz hopes that with its products, you will find the journeys of birthing, breastfeeding and nurturing babies more empowering and magical. Today, Autumnz has a dedicated team committed to researching, designing, producing and testing their range of products which they hope mothers and babies will enjoy as much as they do.

Autumnz markets a wide range of products aimed at nursing mothers and babies from birth to five years old. The main products under the brand are:

• Baby food storage and Food Processor

Autumnz believes in delivering quality and innovative products at an affordable price so that families from the lower to middle income households are similarly able to access its range of mother and baby products. This marketing strategy has proven to be successful given that on a whole Autumnz products currently occupy approximately 20-35% of the market share in Malaysia. In light of the ever-growing online shopping trend and modern retailing methods, Autumnz has experienced an increase in turnover. As such, Autumnz has begun implementing the Just-In-Time supply chain model to their warehouse to meet the constant demand from their resellers/retailers.

As the local Malaysian market grows increasingly competitive, Autumnz hopes to expand its market reach to international markets such as Singapore, Brunei and Philippines and Indonesia in the near future.

History

Autumnz was founded by two women who took a hands-on approach in managing all the logistics of the business operation. Autumnz started off as a small scale part-time business that offered a limited range of products such as maternity / nursing bras. As the business grew, Autumnz began expanding its product range to include electrical breastpumps and breastmilk storage equipments.

In the early stages, Autumnz took an active role in developing its brand awareness by participating in baby events, publishing itself onto magazines and even travelling interstate to participate in Baby Expos. Currently, Autumnz has a website, Facebook page and Instagram accounts to showcase its range of products and to help consumers learn more about each product.

Products

The brand began with an initial focus on nursing bras and maternity wear. However, as the awareness of breastfreeding increased over time, Autumnz began introducing a wider range of products such breastpumps, breastmilk storage bottles, cooler bags and ice packs to cater to the needs of mothers who are often on the go. Additionally, Autumnz has a range of nursing poncho for mothers who wish to breastfeed in public or express their milk in the office. Autumnz’s breastmilk storage bottles/ bags, cooler bags, ice packs and portable baby bottle warmer are among some of the products that allow mothers to conveniently store and prepare breastmilk for the safe consumption of their precious ones.

Over the years, Autumnz has received many positive feedback from their valuable customers requesting for more varieties of products. For example, Autumnz went on to explore the production of moulded bras with and without underwires, and handsfree pumping bras to cater to working mothers. Their eco range of bamboo sleep bras and panties has also received overwhelming responses. Other products that were well-received include Autumnz’s disposable and washable breastpads.

From breastfeeding, Autumnz slowly diversified into the area of baby food preparation which brought about the introduction of products like steam steriliser, food warmer, food cooker and food processors.

Recent Developments

In the recent years, Autumnz has launched its own feeding range which includes feeding bottles, bowls, plates, spoons, silicone bibs, cups and bottle cleanser. Other accessories like baby towels, washcloths, mittens, booties and swaddle were also introduced to the market.

To promote oral care for babies, Autumnz introduced toothpastes and toothbrushes designed for different ages. Autumnz has also added safety products and travel friendly items into their product range such as their safety gates, play mats, air ring sling and diaper bags.
